Welcome to the Liminal App
The Liminal app leverages emerging spatial composition techniques to turn the Catholic University of America campus into an immersive, interactive soundscape, reframing the history and features of the campus through music and sound for students, faculty, and visitors. The app is designed to be experienced through your physical presence on campus, and interacted with through your movement, making it different for every visitor, every time. Its composition is centered in the Salve Regina Gallery, and serves as a digital extension of the in-person Liminal exhibition from Sepember-October 2023.Headphones are not required, but provide the proper spatial audio to best experience the sound localizations and compositional techniques.

Troubleshooting
- If you are seeing a blue screen or background, particularly on Android, please restart the app one time. This is a known issue with Android location permissions.- If the music sounds choppy, your device may not have enough processing power to run the app optimally. Your best bet is to turn off your WiFi.
- If you are not seeing or hearing anything, please remember you must be physically on-site at Catholic University to experience the app.
